For a quarter of a century, ED5INTERNATIONAL has been synonymous with top-notch training, unparalleled service, and a global network of successful alumni. During this time, ED5INTERNATIONAL Graduates have gained a reputation within the industry for being extremely talented, hard-working and professional. Our alumni are working in all areas of the Performing Arts, both within Australia and Internationally, due partly to the strong industry connections that ED5 holds.
As Directors of ED5INTERNATIONAL, we bring complementary skillsets to the table in order to achieve success not only as a Performing Arts College but for each individual ED5INTERNATIONAL graduate. We are very hands on and each individual is important to us. Of course, we offer all the tools to guide our students, but it is their journey to drive their own career. Why are we different? We would not be great leaders and mentors if we don’t know the hearts and minds of our students.”
What do you look for when you audition students?
“Some of the main things we look for during our auditions are enthusiasm, positivity, and willingness to give anything a go. Of course we are also looking for exceptional talent, however any potential student who shows passion, drive and the desire to learn will always be strongly considered. We pride ourselves on what our course offers to become industry ready, so our best advice to anyone thinking of auditioning for ED5INTERNATIONAL is to simply be yourself and let your uniqueness shine through!”

What is the atmosphere like at ED5INTERNATIONAL?
“Anyone who has passed through our famous red doors will tell you that we pride ourselves on being a family. We provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere and our course is built on excellence, honesty, integrity and professionalism.
We have a genuine interest in helping each individual with their ambitions, and as Directors we always have our best foot forward to be there for our students in every aspect, while training and post-graduation.”
What skills and experience can students expect to leave a course at ED5INTERNATIONAL with?
“ED5INTERNATIONAL students graduate as fully rounded industry- ready professionals. Our training is comprehensive in dancing, singing and acting, and just as importantly in presentation, professionalism and resilience. The course provides the opportunity to audition for some of Sydney’s foremost performance talent agents, enabling students to obtain professional representation upon graduating. In addition, by the end of the course Graduates have completed 2 terms worth of mock auditions with the Directors of ED5 and other industry professionals. If you are not competent and confident with auditioning you may never work as a performer regardless of how talented you are. We see audition technique as one of the greatest assets our students gain from the course, and are very proud that each year some of our students secure professional performance contracts to commence immediately after graduating.”

What inspires you to keep educating?
“At ED5INTERNATIONAL we are not only interested in providing our students the skillset to have a career and be employable in the industry, but also in the number of lives we are able to make a positive difference to. This is very rewarding to us, and we feel so privileged to be a part of the journey of the young talent that come through ED5INTERNATIONAL.
We will continue on our ED5INTERNATIONAL journey as long as we know that as the three Directors of ED5INTERNATIONAL we can commit 100% to each individual student. This is paramount to the continuation of ED5INTERNATIONAL’s mission. Our priority is the entertainment business in this country and abroad, but more importantly it is about the individual - the student who then becomes the employed artist.”
